Outdoors Initiative is a new IHEID student-led club that facilitates outdoors activities in and around Geneva.
We aim to make outdoor activities more accessible to students from all levels of experience and financial backgrounds.

Our activities include:

• Hiking

• Biking

• Climbing

• Camping

• Kayaking

• Sailing

• Alpine skiing

• Ski Touring

• Football

• Running

Outdoors Initiative also lends equipment to students for group events. The Initiative collaborates with other student initiatives and local partners to create more opportunities for students to appreciate the outdoors.

Our hope is to encourage students to take a break, get outside and explore Switzerland beyond the Institute!
